Цель симпозиума IEEE East-West Design & Test Symposium (EWDTS) – расширение международного сотрудничества и обмен опытом между ведущими учеными Западной и Восточной Европы, Северной Америки и других стран в области автоматизации проектирования, тестирования и верификации электронных компонентов и систем. Симпозиум проводится, как правило, в странах бассейнов Черного и Балтийского морей, Центральной Азии. Симпозиум будет проходить в столице Армении одном из старейших городов мира – Ереване. Симпозиум организован Харьковским национальным университетом радиоэлектроники в сотрудничестве с Ереванским государственным университетом. По итогам симпозиума лучшие доклады будут опубликованы в журналах, индексируемых WoS и Scopus. IEEE оставляет за собой право исключить работу авторов из списков на опубликование после конференции, в том числе IEEE Xplore® - цифровая библиотека, если доклад не представлен ​​авторами на конференции.

EWDTS’ 2016 explores the novel trends in testing, debug, diagnostics and repair of microelectronic circuits and systems 

14th East-West Design & Test Symposium held in Armenia announces 25 prominent keynote speakers This year Armenia will host 175 highly qualified technologists from industry and academia representing 31 countries. 25 keynotes and invited presentations will be featured at the Symposium Plenary sessions.

The main goal of the symposium is the exchange of experiences between the leading engineers, researchers, experienced technologists and scientists from the East (especially the Black Sea and Central Asia) and West as well as discussion of new projects and ideas. The conference will bring together 25 invited speakers and 175 representatives from 31 countries, as well as leading universities and companies including USA, France, Mexico, Germany, Spain, Canada, Russia, Armenia, Ukraine, Romania, Italy, India, China, Iran and Poland to present their latest and accomplishments in the field, and to discuss future directions. Holding such a prominent symposium in Yerevan is the result of achievements of Armenian engineers and scientists in the field of electronic design and test. As a result, we see growing foreign investments in Armenia.
